We have a vacancy for an Area Sales Manager in the flooring division, reporting to the National Sales Manager for flooring.
This role requires the ability to meet and interact confidently with customers, representing the company in an appropriate manner at all times. You will direct and co-ordinate all field sales activities for the North West of England, achieving or exceeding sales and margin targets, maintaining optimum customer relations on an ongoing basis and developing new business opportunities within the area.
To succeed in this role you would ideally have good product and market knowledge with experience in back selling through distributors, as well as the ability to understand technical standards and requirements.
You must have a broad understanding of customers’ businesses and associated issues. Well-developed interpersonal skills combined with self-motivation and flexibility are also essential.
